(hereinafter referred to as “Wqian Magnetic”), recently led a delegation to the Zhongke Puguang (Zhengzhou) Institute of Applied Science and Technology for a focused fact-finding visit and in-depth discussions. The team conducted on-site research into the innovative applications of advanced technologies—including hyperspectral remote sensing, big data, and digital twins—in areas such as ecological environment monitoring, food and pharmaceutical testing, and the digitization of cultural artifacts, while exploring new avenues for cross-sector collaborative innovation and industrial partnerships.

Ms. Wang Zhengjun, Director of the Zhongke Puguang (Zhengzhou) Institute of Applied Science and Technology, extended a warm welcome to the delegation from WQian Magnet and accompanied them throughout the visit, providing detailed explanations. The delegation gained an in-depth understanding of the institute’s R&D capabilities and industrialization achievements, which are anchored in the core technologies of the State Key Laboratory at the Innovation Academy for Space‑Air Information of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. These include satellite‑borne, airborne, and ground‑based online water‑quality monitoring systems, an intelligent cloud‑based water‑quality testing platform, hyperspectral scanning and imaging for cultural relics, digital copyright trading in the cultural sector, spectroscopic analysis for food and pharmaceuticals, and emergency‑response technology and equipment. They also observed live demonstrations of key instruments, such as buoy‑mounted water‑quality spectrometers, handheld spectrometers, and forensic‑grade hyperspectral scanning systems, and engaged deeply with the institute’s research philosophy of “openness, integration, innovation, and upholding fundamental principles,” as well as its integrated “industry–university–research–application” model for technology transfer.

Ms. Wang Zhengjun, Director of the Zhongke Puguang (Zhengzhou) Institute of Applied Science and Technology, provided a detailed overview of the institute’s development trajectory, technological framework, research achievements, and industrial deployment. As a key institution in Henan Province dedicated to the innovative application and industrialization of aerospace information technologies, the institute focuses on four core areas—ecological and environmental governance, pharmaceutical science, food and drug testing, and digitalization of cultural artifacts. It has established a technology cluster centered on hyperspectral remote sensing, holds 27 proprietary intellectual property rights, and is currently developing one industry‑standard framework. The institute has cultivated a comprehensive ecosystem spanning equipment R&D, data services, platform operations, and technology transfer, with its innovations already deployed across numerous provinces and municipalities nationwide, demonstrating robust capabilities in scientific and technological innovation and industrial empowerment.
